I have an Athearn P42 that is made for walthers. Recently its been derailing on my curves. Has anyone else had this problem?
What radius curves are you running?
Is it the front truck or the rear truck?
If it is the front truck, gently bend the front ladders away from the edge. Also check for binding inside.

aside from what has already been mentioned, I would also check for the lateral movement of the axles in the trucks. Also check if the axles are in gauge. If the wheels are too far apart they will easily climb the rails. Also make sure that the trucks are not warped.
