Athearn Production Schedule

MR Express on this website has the headline “Athearn Announces Production Schedule”. I looked at it and it’s the 2004 schedule. 2004 is almost OVER. What I would like to see is their 2005 production schedule so I could plan some purchases. Why wait till the year is over to announce that same year’s schedule?

Is a little frustrating but it’s actually a lot of work for a model train manufacturer.

Scenario:
A manufacturer announces a schedule and then a few weeks later they find out that certain parts are not available from an overseas vendor, or there is a defect in a product line (remember what happened to BLI 2 years ago?), or there is a problem with a critical piece of equipment in the production line. Since occurrences like these have become common, it makes sense for the company to take the “route of caution” [;)][4:-)] and make sure things are “on track.” But of course, many of us do become impatient as a result. [:(!]

(yes-me too! I’ve been grumbling about Soundtraxx’s Tsunami decoder for the longest!)

Cheers and hang in there! [:)][:D][8D][;)][8)]

MR Express just now has that listed? Talk about slow.
