Athearn SD50 Ad - Better Value. . .$40 Less - Less than what?

I just received the March issue of MR and on page 7 there is an add for the Athearn SD50 and it states that it is a better value. . . . $40.00 Less.

Less than what? The Proto 2000 SD50 or $40 of the reagular MSRP?

I wi***hey would have a non RTR version and that it wouldn’t be limited run. By the time I earn some money for them it will be to late to buy a couple. They would be $30 cheaper if they weren’t RTR.
