Great review! I was hoping that I would see this locomotive in a review because I have one myself. The interesting this is that I actually have the SD70ACe from Athearn’s original run in 2010, and the improvement from that locomotive to the more recent ES44AC release is tremendous. I also have a couple of the Intermountain GEVOs, and they are great as well. Have you ever considered doing a review of Intermountain’s ES44AC/DCs? I think it will be great to see the “late production” units that Intermountain is releasing in a couple of months, and an IAIS ES44AC or BNSF ES44C4 might make a nice subject for a review. Again, thanks for the awesome review, and I can’t wait to see it in the magazine! (The March issue looks fantastic!)
