I have heard that Athearn is under new ownership. Is this true? Many of their cars and engines are being discontinued. I wi***hey would continue to sell somethings like their HO Pacifics and Mikados that they use to make and their ALCO PA’s.

Since Horizon hobbies bought them some stores have not begun ordering from them yet and anyone LHS wise who’s entrenched with walthers likely won’t get them as Walther’s no longer can caryy athearn. No worries however if you go to horizon hobbies web sight they can sell to you via the net. TB
