I’m not sure if anyone else has this same issue, but I seem to spend way too much time searching for cars and information on their website w/o success. Many things are not updated and searches using product numbers or exact Athearn names come up empty. Newest items may be better, but anything older is the proverbial ‘needle in a haystack’ activity. Current I am looking for what I thought would be an easy find. It hasn’t gone that way! Anyone have a scan of Athearn’s Gunderson 56’ Well Car Parts Diagram ? Thanks.
James, I can’t answer your question specifically. But I have to think it has to do with the current marketing concept of “preorder”. I’m not being critical of the business model, but the world of “preorder” is far removed from the days when hobby stores had inventory. For that matter, we have lost most of our LHS’s. It’s just the way of the world, but I sure do miss the old days of walking thru the isles of my LHS.
