I was reading mrr tonight the new april issue, and im sorry to say that im not pleased with the way the hand rails look on those locos,look non realistic,and cheap ,i hope they rethink that and change it,locos dont look bad but they have to lose those hand rails,

One question. Have you been to an LHS and seen one up close?
Considering that these are RTR and not Genesis units they look great! They are a “Cut Above” the Blue Box line. I especially like those “See Thru” grills. The paint job looks crisp and accurate. My LHS has several in stock.
Exactly what is it about the handrails that turns you off? Thickness? Material used?

antonioFP45 you are right ,im just judging from the pic in the mrr mag ,and,it just looked ,not that great ,i have to go to my lhs today , i think he stocks those ,ill give ya a shout back buddy ,

On mine the end handrails were glued in the “not fully seated” position and not all the flash had been removed. Kind of disappointing that I had to remove them, re-trim the pieces, over-drill the holes and re-install. That flaw, the headlight bulbs herniating out of the fixtures, and the thick paint add up to moderate let-downs. The plus side is the nice weight of the unit.
