Atlas 0032 Norfolk Southern Trainman train set

I think it is a great sater set for any one. But thay shood offer a DCC set to. It is a very good yard loco and the frightcars are cool.

Nice starter set. Been in the hobby since I was 8 years old. Over 40 years. Look forward to some steam information. Thank you

I think that it is a nice starter set would like to see DCC. I am not a fan of the road bead with this set.

real nice starter set wish i had one like that when i wa young

Nice starter set video. Very helpful for newcomers.

Atlas Trainman is a fine product. Great starter set to give as gift, better quality better first experience.

Growing up during the Conrail break-up and present ns,I think this is a fine beginner set, but lacks more advanced detail like number boards. Also, in present times, cabooses are no longer used, but this is a great gift and beginner set.

Very impressed with both the product and product presentation. Nice set for anyone just starting out wanting a train up and running in a very short time.

I would buy this train set. Atlas is indeed a well respected brand. Note in the video how quietly the engine operates. Atlas makes the best track, and their trains are worth every dollar you’ll spend.

Atlas is a very good company to start on your way to a hobby that will last alife time.

I started model railroading in 1977 when I was seven years old. The very best advice that I received was after a visit to the Chattanooga Choo Choo layout that operates 365 days a year. The gentlemen operating the layout at the time said to buy Atlas for its superb quality. I’ve been an Atlas fan ever since!

I need that set because i’m from pennsylviania and we get ns trains 24/7!

I have never been disappointed with any Atlas product This is the good stuff.

I was a tyco kid back in the 70’s and decided to buy this set for my sons this christmas. I thought the trainman stuff was their ‘cheap’ line, but it is light years ahead of anything I owned previously. My sons are young and I learned the hard way not to leave it out unsupervised so we only have the set out on the weekends. It’s been set up and taken apart 20 times already and shows no sign of breaking down. The cars are very high quality - good couplers, metal wheels, nice weight to them so they stay on the track. I can’t think of a better set to start out with and am glad I spent the extra time to find this one.

Not to fond of the road bed. Looks to fragile on the alignment pins. The ability to easily remove the track from the roadbed later on is a good plus. Same as with the Athearn set, they should use plug in connectors on the power pack. Much safer and more error free.

Perfecto set, maravillosa marca , muy buena. Buen producto, lastima q en Mexico los precios de esta marca sean muy elevados.

How can you loose? I have found Atlas to be nothing short of excellence. Personally I operate some Atlas equipment that is 40 years old and it will not quit. Will not quit. In your back pocket you have a customer service that is second to none. This will be the starter for my grandson.
As for the video reviews, great jobs guys! It might help the new guy to tell him the polarity (in this case) is not all that critical.

Very well built set that will be the launching point for me into this great hobby.

I have the locomotive and its supererb. I also have a boxcar from the company’s Master Line and operates just as good with metal wheels and tons of added details. For the locomotive, it runs as quiet as you can get for an Atlas or Kato, and pulls just as good. The only thing I would more preffer is better detail on the engine, although it is very good for a train set. Since I like superdetailing (adding extra details) the locomotive is the right price, quality, and type for me.
Its and 15/5 for me and 4 big fingres up!!
