Atlas 150-10000404 Where is the headlight?

Hi Guys

Where is the headlight on this undecorated unit?

Thanks,

CASO

It is an Atlas Gp40-2 with Sound

Well, according to the link you provided, it is an undecorated unit with a standard nose headlight.

So this must be a trick question?

Looking at the link, its a FEC unit with cab and nose headlights

Scolling down past the FEC unit you will find the part # he is looking for. I shows that part # as undec with a standard nose headlight. I would guess by that, that it is a headlight in the nose of the engine.

Hey Guys

My interpretation was that the headlight was in the top part like the RF&P unit. Does anyone have a picture of this unit?

Thanks,

CASO

“Low nose headlight” means the headlight is in the low hood, not up between the number boards. The ones with a Gyralite in the low nose have the headlight over the cab. However, I would think their wording is wrong, every decorated unit WITHOUT Gyralite has the headlight int he standard position over the cab. I would thinkt he undec version is the same. I think what Atlas MEANT to say was “standard low nose” not “standard low nose headlight” Look at the Reading unit as an example.
