Atlas 21st Century Signal System compatible with other brands?

I was unaware of the Atlas 21st Century Signal System & Custom Signals product offerings for effective block signaling until this month’s issue. It seems a much more simple & elegant solution that most other methods (e.g. timers/delay, relays, etc.).

I reviewed both the Atlas signal catalog and the Custom Signals website, but did not find an answer to the following question. Is there any way to connect the Atlas and/or Custom Signals circuit boards to drive other manufacturers’ signals (MTH, Lionel, Z-Stuff)?

I have a few Lionel & MTH signals, in addition to an MTH signal bridge, that I’d be interested in using with the system. If I couldn’t, I’d have to evaluate how important improved operation of block signaling is really worth to me and consider selling my current signals. I wish I had seen this article a year ago before signal purchases :wink:

Also, on a side note, do you think the system can be used for other signal types (e.g. semaphores)?
