How many of you have used these type of turnouts? What are the pros and cons of these Atlas Code 83 # 6 Super Switches? Are the problems with these the same problems that we have with the Atlas Custom Line turnouts? I would appreciate your honest and frank responses.
The point throw bar is a little more robust than the custom lines. It also sticks out on both sides of the turnout so you don’t have to flip the throw bar. Just cut off the side your not going to use. The turnout track is as long as the through track which makes it a pain to use them in a ladder.
I was sent 4 of them by mistake but used them anyhow. They work as well as the custom lines.
