Just wondering, I was at a hobby store the other day to purchase some
Atlas code 83 . The guy at store tells me that the price is $6.98 for flex track.
This is the price increase from Walthers. It floored me! So didn’t purchase any. I got home and checked the web sites at Walthers, Atlas, and two
hobby stores in the KC area. They still have the price at $4.25. So I called this hobby store today and the price is know $8.00 for Atlas code 83 flex. He also told me that Walthers code 83 is no longer available and has replaced it
with the Atlas code 83 line. Thus the price increase. Am I missing something,
if so, WHAT? If not… Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

SORRY! I got it right this time.
Walthers/Shinohara flextrack code 83 is not sold out. I checked the Walthers website a minute ago. These is no reason stop selling Walthers flextrack. I wonder where all these rumours comes from…?
are these the prices for one piece? because my LHS sells it for less than $3 a piece
Sounds like your LHS is trying to pull what mine did and jack up the prices…give you a discount… and you end up with regular retail. But, in your case, he is just ripping you off.
