just wondering if any body uses these for there layouts shut off switches??? are they good? My layout is in N scale thanks Tim
i use 2 on my HO scale layout & they are great- you can turn off lighted buildings , sections of track or whatever - i use the 205 connecter w/ 3 on/off’s atlas also has one w/ 2 on/off’s but i don’t know the model#
I use them they are quite effective in operating more than one train.They make wiring a lot more simple. I will be buliding a new RR soon and may stay with them, of course DCC is still something I am thinking of .
I had about 15 of them on my layout before I started to add on. Since I decided to go DCC I removed them. I never had one bit of problem with them. I also used the Atlas Controller to switch my reverse track sections. All worked and operation was a breeze. I could run 2 engines by myself as well as a yard switcher. Good for dc.
