I’m installing a decoder in an older Atlas/kato C-424 loco. I have installed the decoder and it works fine. I’m not sure of the lights though. On the installation page I see an LED soldered to the centre and one to the rear. There is also a pair of tabs up front. Can these be used to mount an LED for the front instead of the center? This model has the clear plastic inserts for the original single lightbulb and in DC they light forwards/reverse at the same time. I can modify them so I can put in the LED’s. Not sure what the instructions mean "Solder white LED’s at “alternate F0” location in PCB center and at rear.
Anybody have any suggestions or comments. Greatly appreciated.
