It would be nice to have an undec that could be finished for Chesapeake Western.

oooooohhh!

We want this little jewel in undec too. It is remarkable that all this gear fits under such a detailed shell. Now, when reviewing these sound-equipped locomotives, can you please include a sound segment?

I found this review very helpful and it caused me to be very interested in possibly getting this engine.

It’s just a matter pf time before finding a B&M unit to add to my fleet. Surely is a nicely detailed loco!!!

Great model, wish they had an undecorated model

Looks tempting.

I’ll buy almost anything B&M,so I got one of these with sound, my friends and myself love it,the sound is terrific as is how it runs.

I’ve got both of the Milwaukee Road units plus one decorated for Relco.
I would strongly advise those of you who haven’t cared for QSI’s previous sound decoders to give these a listen - BIG improvement, in my opinion. I’m hoping that this is a preview of what’s coming in the new Titan line of decoders from QSI.

Have a Maine Central model from the first production run. It’s a great engine. However the New Haven model illustrated in the first adds was unavailable locally, and sold out at mail order houses, disappointing. Manufacturer did not reply to email request for possible rerun.

I presently have one of these on order! I already have one decorated for the B&M from the prior production run for my B&M themed layout! The only complaint with it is that I found the QSI decoder particularly difficult to program and had to seek the assistance of a friend who is more electronically/computer savy. Other than that it is an excellent model of this loco and I would recommend it to anyone.

I can’t believe that a mfgr has finally come out with a regional name, in this case, Boston & Maine that is DCC . All the ones I’ve seen are only in DC. Guess I’ll have to go into the milk money account!!

Very very nice model. looks, running and sound.

Should have come out with the Santa Fe prototype also…

I was happy when Atlas announced in 2009 that they would be releasing a New York Central version of the HH600/660 in their Master Gold Series. I was EVEN happier when I first ran it on my layout. The new “Q2” decoders have excellent low-speed response; a big improvement over the early Q1 and Q1a decoders. Detailing is beautiful and the sound it very enjoyable. This switcher is a real jewel!

GREAT SOUND, LOOKS AND RUNS REAQLLY NICE

I ordered an undecorated model, but when none were shipped, I decided to use the Wabash, since the lettering changes would be minimal. Great addition for my Alco-based road.

At just under 6" of body length it makes a great switcher. Smooth as glass.

helpful, thanks
