Atlas MP15 (HO) & QSI Rev A

Hello all,

Has anyone successfully installed a QSI Quantum Revolution-A in an Atlas MP15 loco? I bought a silver unit w/o DCC and want to hook it up.

If anyone has used another brand decoder and is really happy with it, let me know.

QSI might fit, but LokSound Micro will fit.

I assume you have installed the LokSound. How is it? Do the sounds match/come close to the prototype? How is the engine control?

As someone who has experience in Sountraxx, QSI, Digitrax and LokSound, I must say that LokSound has my vote. Downloadable, reliable with great features. And yes, the sound is an actual recording with actual notches.

That sounds good. I might just try one since I have tried just about every other brand (in other locos). Could you tell me which one of the ESU speakers would fit in the Atlas MP15?
