I need to make a dado in a wood strip to fit some Atlas code 55 N scale flex track.
Would someone be able to get me an accurate measurement of the overall height from bottom of tie to top of rail and the width from end of tie to end of tie?
Thanks

For the Atlas Code 55 N scale flex track, the measurements are approximately:
Overall height (bottom of tie to top of rail): ~0.140 inches (3.56 mm)
Width (end of tie to end of tie): ~0.390 inches (9.91 mm)
These measurements can vary slightly depending on the specific batch and environmental factors, personally it’s always best to double-check with calipers before making a dado.

Thank you for the info. Fit doesn’t have to be perfect, as I’ll allow a little slop anyway. But those numbers will get me started.
Yeah of course happy to help!
