Atlas N scale Shay - closest length match?

Hi,

I’ve just pre-ordered an Atlas N scale Shay, and I’m in the process of putting in a staging siding for it. I assume that the length will be closer to a diesel than that of a steamer. These are the diesel models I have in my fleet;

Atlas GP7TT
Atlas H-15-44
Intermountain F3/F7s
Walthers RS-2

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which of these diesels would be the closest match for the Shay model, length-wise? This is to measure siding capacity, clearences, etc.

How big is your H15? I will be getting at least one, they are one of my top fav diesels. I also plan to get a Shay.

Hi,

The H-15-44 is 4 5/16" long from coupler knuckle to coupler knuckle.
