I was wondering what would be the better of the two brands of flex track,
I saw some model power track on ebay and it looked no different than atlas but looks can be decieving.

I have no experience with Model Power flex track. I have used some of their sectional track in the past and it seems to work okay. Atlas flex track is the industry standard. I use it on my BRVRR along with some of the Atlas sectional pieces. Since the nickel track is used by all manufacturers now, which one is best is largely a matter of personal choice. I choose to use Atlas, but that is me. It’s your railroad!
Model Power flex track is a little stiffer than Atlas, so it is harder to bend around a curve; however, I prefer the more prototypically sized and spaced crossties of the MP track over Atlas. Atlas comes in rail sizes other than Code 100, but MP does not. Other than the difference in crossties, you can’t tell one from the other once it is laid.
I would recommend Atlas track…i have both on my layout and the Atlas is a lot easier to work with…the model power is stiff and hard to bend in the curves and also, the ties break off the outsides of the rails very easily on the Model Power track.
