Atlas O's MP15DC

I have never purchased an Atlas O product before but, I currently have this model ordered.

I operate my layout using MTH’s DCS system, along with Lionel’s TMCC. My track is Lionel fastrack and I have O-72 switches and curves.

I am looking for a high quality locomotive, including superior operation. I don’t like the fact that Atlas uses old technology (Lionel’s TMCC) to run their locomotives.I am aware this particular locomotive might have EOB (engineer on board) added to the operating system. I currently run MTH Premier, and Lionel Legacy locomotives. Will Atlas’sMP15DC match or exceed what I currently operate?

I have an Atlas GP-35 decorated for Southern Railway that I absolutely love. It gets as much track time as anything I’ve got. It does well and has never let me down.

I own several Atlas engines along with MTH and Lionel (TMCC and Legacy) and I love my Atlas engines. I have 2 of the MP15 switchers and they work great. I would venture to say that after getting this engine, you’ll start looking at some of their other offerings as well.
