Atlas RS-1 and RS-3 with DCC and Loksound - will the old Atlas Classic bodies fit these new chassis?

Hi, this may have been asked, but I have just noticed that the Atlas website new items announces DCC + LokSound versions of the RS-3 and RS-1 in 1st and 3rd quarters 2013. I have Atlas Classic DC versions in liveries not covered in the initial batches, and I am wondering if Atlas have designed the new versions to be backwards compatible with the old bodies. I hate to think how long I would need to wait for a Central of Georgia RS-3. And on that theme, I assume Atlas intend to upgrade the GP-7 soon? I have one of those in CofG livery, if Atlas could please bear that in mind for bodyswap compatibility.

Bill,According to Atlas the GP7 dies is worn out and needs replace…They didn’t say if they will have new GP7 dies made…Of course Atlas is pretty tight lip about their planed projects.
