Atlas Station with New Roof - Pic

I finished the new roof for my Atlas Station. I built a new roof from styrene, and used the walls from the kit’s large dormer to make the end gables (I had an extra wall). I shingled the roof with Rusty Stumps Asphalt Shingles. I also added some angle strip along the bottom edge for gutters. Eventually, I’ll add downspouts and a chimney.

That is a huge improvement! It looks great, and it sets you apart from the crowd. And it doesn’t look too hard either.

Nice job! Looks 100% better than the original roof.

Thats great! I like it a lot!

Thanks guys. I do like the look of the new roof much better. However, because I completely redesigned the roof, figureing out the angles what a real pain.

Maybe so, but I’m tellin’ ya, it was worth the effort!

You have a good eye, as you made it look larger with the same building footprint Also you might consider the roof sewer vent pipe’s, on the roof for bathrooms ect. I will keep this modification in mind for future use. Thanks for sharing and again…great job…John
