I am designing a new HO layout. I have lots and lots of code 100 track so that is what I’ll be using. I need to buy two WYE Turnouts and want to purchase Atlas code 100 style. These do not come with electronic components. Which switch machines do I get? Will the Atlas right or left hand version work???
Help!
Looks to me like it would use a right-hand switch.

I’ve got a Peco wye switch with a Peco switch machine. It mates fine with Atlas code 100 flex track. Like the Atlas, the Peco machine is twin-coil so it can be wired the same way, although in my experience it really wants a capacitive discharge circuit to operate well. The Peco switch machine mounts directly to the underside of the turnout, eliminating alignment issues and hiding the motor nicely beneath the tracks.
[#ditto] Yes right-hand, and you have to use the little extender piece that is included.
