Would like your opinons on Atlas switches. Why are they so inexpensive compared to the same Fastrack 0-36 switch?
And, can you connect them to Fastrack using some type of adapter?

There have been several threads on the subject of Atlas switches. I suggest that you read them as they will give you a lot of information.

I started out with 5 Atlas switches on my first O scale layout. 9 X 5. I have a bigger layout now with about 20 switches. Other than a couple of machines I had to replace for cooking, I have had good luck with them. I will point out that I did have to add power to both ends of the switches a few times. [^] I can’t offer an opinion on comparisons to other switches as I have not used those. Good luck on your research.
I have had good luck with Atla switches.I like them better than GarGrave or Lionel 072. Everything I have will negotiate the Atlas switches without derailing.
