Atlas Terminal Joiners

My soldering skills are sub-par at best. Anybody use the terminal joiners from Atlas, in lieu of soldering track feeders?

well ihave recently started my 2 layout a N scale, and I am using terminal rail joiners for the shutoff switcher. but your udea should work just fine…

Atlas terminal joiners are simply ordinary joiners to which wires are soldered.Since installing feeders every three feet or so (about the length of a flextrack section) is recommended for reliable operation, you may find them a bit pricey. You could make your own by soldering wires to regular joiners. You may mess a couple in the beginning but you’ll get the hang of it and save substantially if you need a lot of them.

The best way is to solder directly to the rail and it’s not that hard.It might be worthed scrapping a piece of track to practice your skills. That’s what I’ve done.

CONNECTING TRACK is what Atlas rail joiner’s are for. They’re cheap.

Since they require a friction fit DON’T REUSE them.
Best to match with THE TRACK they are being used on. Atlas on Atlas, etc.

CODE 's refers to the rail’s height, only, not profile.
