Atlas track!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO i do not feel that atlas sectional track is useless.i’ve used snap in ho and n and im using some snap track on my new ho layout.i solder all my snap track and after painting, weathering it performs as good as finely laid flex and once again imo looks very good.its helps i guess that i’ve been laying this type of track since the 60’s.but even newcomers to the hobby can lay this type of track dowm if you just take your time and do a few feet at a time and make sure your trains run well over what you’ve already put down.i know their are better and more expensive track products out their and that is fine if one wishes to use it.im just trying to say if you put it down right and weather it ,it performs very well.atlas has produced and made improvements to their line of track for many many years.terry…

kchronister,

Totally agree with you. I’ve noticed that, too, and I think it’s actually rather charming - especially on older railroads. However, the prototype trains in real life are much more forgiving in that respect than model trains are.
