I’ve come across a few older Atlas starter sets on eBay. I know Atlas is highly recommended these days…are the older models of the same high quality?
Is this H.O or O scale? Does the ebay site have a photo?
I can tell you that I own 2 HO Atlas locomotives built in the 70s with the old 5 pole Roco motor. Still great running units that surprisingly draw low amps. They also run more quietly than my newest Athearns! I have a Seaboard Coast Line FP7 and a Santa Fe GP40. I plan on coverting these to DCC.
