on the atlas U30C engine, where are the seperate drop steps applied and would they even be put on a CSX model?
The drop steps sandwich in between the pilot walkway and the handrail piece. It should have a little notch that it sits in on the frame, then you just put the handrail assembly on after it. From a quick Google image search, it seems that the drop steps would be appropriate for a CSX U30C.
