ATS Trucking

A couple of times now going down Interstate 44 down to springfield, I passed some trucks owned by “ATS Trucking” Each time I pass one of these rigs, there is an image of a Canadian National Locomotive on the sleepers.

Does anyone now if this company “ATS” is owned by CN?

Not sure. ATS as in Anderson trucking? Might be an owner ops rigs and hes a railfan. But your question intriuges me will have to look into this more.

Anderson is trucking company that does alot of heavy haul. I don’t think they have anything to do with CN. The driver might be a railfan. I’m a trucker that likes trains and have seen a number on this forum. I’d bet too there are a number of truckers today that were railroaders at one time. They still like trains but don’t want to work for the railroad.

It could be Andlauer Transportation Services…they’re from Canada and I believe they do ship containers with CN…I could be wrong though as I’ve never heard of Andlauer running stateside…oh well…I’ve been wrong before…just ask my wife.

I was familiar with Anderson Trucking Service back in 1976 when I was an Immigration Inspector at Grand Portage MN. They were hauling primarily lumber (mostly 8’ 2x4’s) and newsprint from Canada into the USA and ran empty into Canada. The firm was based in St. Cloud MN at the time.
