Just a guess, but perhaps from the “museum” collection that the Santa Fe sent to the California State Railroad Museum in Sacremento?
A bit of a shame that most of this collection was in much better condition when they left the Santa Fe for the Sacramento museum in 1986.
UPDATE
Looks like my guess was right on the money:
Feel free to donate to IRM to help get it down from that flat car, it is taller then an auto rack, and auto racks don’t fit under the over head (the bi levels IRM has are a close fit)… It is going to take two cranes to get it down.
Thanks much for the reply and info.
Sadly, Uncle John sent her to the roundhouse in AQ with almost new paint for preservation. The rust is relatively new.
