Attention Wisconsin area railroaders....

Be sure to attend the Title Town Train Show held at Shopko Hall in Green Bay this weekend. The Northeastern Wisconsin O Gaugers’ layout will be running, stop on by to chat about our great passion for model railroading. We look forward to this quality show, one of the best in the state. Saturday 9AM - 4PM, Sunday 10AM - 3PM. Many layouts of all scales, and many vendors selling their goods. A great weekend! All Aboard…

Yes, a great show. Lots of layouts. O gauge, HO, N, and G scale on the floor. Lots of dealers of new and used trains in all scales at nice prices. Both private and commercial. It will leave your head buzzing with trains for months.

I plan on being there on Saturday. I’ve been to the shows held in Milwaukee in November and Madison in February. This is the first time I will be to the show in Green Bay. I’m looking forward to it.

If you’re a Flyer guy, you’re sure to like the show if it is anything like last year. There was at least six tables loaded with Flyer. Plus a few pieces scattered around on everything tables. The good stuff at nice prices.

That is good to hear. I do enjoy all aspects of Flyer. I’ll have to see if there is anything that I can add to the prewar items I have. If I find anything I will ahve to post it on the Flyer Pictures thread. I am looking forward to the show.

Hot dang, the meet shrunk this year but it was still crowded and a great time. Found some MPC I’ve been wanting at nice prices. Eg: Like new MSTL GP-9 pwr and dummy for $130.00 plus an NP GP-9 dummy to go with my postwar 2349 for $50.00. An assortment of freight cars too. Lots of young families. Children loved the G scale layouts more than anything. Especially the one set up on the floor so they could sit and watch.

I had a great time at the show today. There was a nice variety of merchandise and a pretty good sized crowd. I had a great time watching the kids being fascinated by the Large Scale layout on the floor.

I saw a few pieces of Pre War Flyer, but nothing to add to the collection. I always do better on eBay looking for interesting pieces in good shape.

I wish that I had taken my camera along today. There was an outstanding layout designed and executed by a local Boys and Girls club. It was a simple squared circle but all of the buildings were designed by the kids and made out of Lincoln Logs. It was outstanding. I don’t think any of the kids involved was older than 12.

I agree on ebay. You can find practically anything at one point in time. The MPC Lionel I picked up is stuff I’ve been trying to get off ebay but continously get beat out of in bid wars so I was happy about that. The Lincoln Log layout was pretty cool. Some pretty spectacular stuff is being done in G scale these days and my eyes have begun focusing on one area of my backyard.
