Just a notice of the upcoming train show and swap meet in Appleton, Wi. on Sunday, October 29th. The “First Freeze” show will be held at the Wave Bar and Ballroom, 2350 N. Casaloma Drive, from 8AM to 2PM. This facility is adjacent to the Fox Cities Stadium, just off of Highway US41. A very good representation of O gauge, and Northeastern Wisconsin O Gaugers Assn. will be running their modular layout. We hope to see you there. We look forward in discussing the latest in our great hobby of electric trains!
I love this show, I have bought alot from people here. I hope to have a booth set up sometime for their spring and fall meets.
My first visit to WI was the first of this month. Pretty county up around Rickfield. Did Cabela’s Grand Opening. Rode even farther north and saw lots of country.
Do any of yuz giz go to the Serb Hall shows in Milwaukee? When do they start?

They have a monthly train swap at the Serbian Hall in Milwaukee. Not sure when it starts though. I know it doesnt meet during the summer. The Serb Hall is on the far southwest side of Milwaukee. Not sure what street it is, only been there once.
Just googled it. Its located at 5101 W. Oklahoma Ave. I’ll check with my LHS. He attends regularly and has a table there.
So how was that Appleton Show? Oops, just reread the first post. Its next week! Maybe I’ll take a road trip and check it out.
That would be cool if we could meet pbj! They redesigned the hall up there, its not Tornados anymore, its The Wave. I remember throwing out Wave Ballroom frisbees at Fox cites Stadium, which is very close to it. I dont even know what it looks like inside, But I liked how it was before. Hmmmn… What shall I lookout to buy this time…
