Noticed your post and mention of Old Saybrook. Born and lived most of life in Clinton. So good luck on the Shoreline Route.
Thank you for the good wishes, Sir Lancelot.
Your user name reminds me of the time I attended Camelot on Broadway, probably in 1965. After the show, one of my advertising managers and I stopped in the basement bar next door to the theater for a night cap. “Sir Lancelot” himself, Bob Goulet, walked in and we sat with him for a couple of hours having a few. A really great guy.
I have been getting great help from the NHRHTA forum members on my Old Saybrook module research. I have started on a mock up of the module in my dining room, but now that I have upgraded my garage, I will be starting all over again out there.
I have finished the drawings for the station, freight house and signal tower, and made a paste up of the station to check it for fit of all the parts before I cut up any styrene.
Unless I have more room, OS will be the last stop of my Shore Line before the tracks go into hidden staging representing Boston.
