I was looking for a particular article from way back in '84. It was called “Dolese Sand and Gravel” and it was in the August issue. I noticed that this particular issue is not available as a back-issue.
Is there anyone out there who has this issue and access to a scanner that would be willing to scan a copy for me? I’d appreciate it.
not sure , but i think thats illegal.
I don’t believe it is illegal to scan a copy of a singular article from an issue that is no longer available from the publisher.
Rather than take the risk, contact Kalpubco’s customer service and see if they can provide a copy.
If they can’t, their message to that effect should get you off the legal hook. Be sure to ask. Getting involved with other people’s intellectual property can get complicated.
One friend’s daughter is involved in a copyright infringement suit right now - as plaintiff.

Railpub has back issues.
NMRA Kalmbach library has a copying service.

Wow. Took the advice and contacted KP just to be on the safe side. $12 for a color photocopy. Thanks, but no thanks. Did a little digging and I ended up finding and buying the entire issue on Amazon for $2.
Thanks for the input, everyone. I appreciate it.
