Hey, glad to see anther GA poster. I’ll have to make another trip over there sometime. It is a great place which even has street running trains!
Also, if you ever head to NE GA, there is a family of shortlines that has some Chessie, RF&P, Rio Grande, Conrail, South Carolina, CNW, and other geeps all in original paint!!!
yeah, I would need directions what’s the place. it would be nice to see the old paint scemes again since you don’t see them any more like Chessie or Family line and others that I have not seen
PS Dough go to Taylor St. that’s will i’ll be on most saturdays I get kinda bored over there untill trains come I can give you more train watching places to see
I saw that C&O engine come right by my house a couple days ago heading south on the Georgia Sub, towards Augusta. wish I had my camera, that was a rare sight.
Didn’t do much trainwatching when I visited Augusta a few years ago - spent more time in fire stations. Did get to experience a CSX freight dissecting Harlem, though…
you should come back usally theres 3or4 trains in 6 hours now 2 or 3 weeks ago it was about 8 in 6 or 8 hours it been busy well, for csx.ns is just the same
