Another great eye for detail. I am courious how many of the details were scratch built and how you did it. Some seem to be from kits and old parts, but some look like your inventions. John Allen used to do that but it seems a lost art these days. I noticed the parts washer and the exhaust parts.

What a great scene! I really enjoy looking at all the detail. Lots of action going on. Tks for sharing your great work. Maybe you could give us an idea of the material or kits you used.

Sorry somehow got a double post.

Bob, the tools on the bench and the wrenches hanging on the wall look like you could pick them up and use them! I made a work bench kit, part of a Woodland Scenics, white metal kit. It had tools that were cast into the molding. No matter how hard I tried I could not get these tools to look like they were not molded onto the work bench. I would love to get some insight into your technique for these small tools?
Bob, once again, your attention to detail is fantastic. Nice auto shop.
Good job. You should leave the roof removable so you can show if off to visitors.
fantastic idea dirtyd !! I’m sure that never even crossed Bobs mind [;)]
Awesome scene as usual Bob, everytime I see your work it just makes me feel inadequate… [:D] I would love to do detail to that level, but curently collecting all of the detail parts and then painting them is out of my timescope… one day I’ll have the time to do this MR thing ‘properly’. A pleasure as always to see a master.
Have fun & be safe
Karl.
Bob,
Fantastic job!!! I echo several of the above posts. Please share some of your methods with us!! I’m currently working on my first structure interior and your work, along with FundyNorthern’s are the bar. If I get half way there I’ll be happy!
ukguy,
Do the MR thing properly? Man, if your having fun you can’t get more proper than that!
Bob,
Great job on the detail. It looks so real, makes me want to drop off my Chevy S10 for a tranny overhaul!
Thanks for sharing the pics!
Cheers,
Ryan
