I used to go to my secondary LHS to get decal paper. I could buy 1 sheet, or a package of 5. Now, they have told me they can’t get it anymore. I looked around, and found that Kadee had laser paper, but not inkjet.
I’m thinking that I may have no choice but to go to decalpaper.com. Their prices are good, but I don’t want or need 20 sheets.
Has anyone else found a place to get inkjet decal paper? Or has anyone ordered from decalpaper.com?

Edit: just noticed you mentioned them. I know of a good friend of mine who uses them and he’s a Graphic Designer, with no complaint’s.
I’ve only made one decal so far (on clear paper) and got a pack of 5 or so small sheets (Testors, I think) at my local Hobby Lobby. Now I need to see where I put it!

Walthers has inkjet decal paper. The Evan Designs and Testors paper are for inkjet printers; the Kadee appears to be just plain decal paper. Your Wallthers LHS should ba able to order some, unless they are stuck with minimum order quantities.
I have used the Micromark papers with no problems. I have some Testors, but have not opened the package yet. Have not tried Evan Designs. That being said, the papers could all be made by the same manufacturer, and are repackaged by the other companies.
I’ve had really good luck using the Evan Designs decal paper. I believe a package of five, 8 1/2" by 11" sheets is around $15. Their paper is specially coated to absorb inkjet printer ink and hold it without needing a sealer. This feature works as advertised as I’ve only been able to smear one single decal but that was because I used several applications of Solvaset and repeated fingertip induced repositioning trying to get the decal properly aligned. All other decals I have printed and installed have turned out quite nicely.
The Evan Designs decal paper comes with an opaque white background. This allows you to create white, or light, colored lettering on a colored background. It can be a little difficult to match the background color of the model on the decal but it is entirely possible (I have done several). However, if you want the decal background to remain opaque white you must use only acrylic based clear coats over decals made with this paper. Solvent based clear coats turn the background clear permanently. Hey, wait! This means you can make white background decals as well as clear background decals using the same decal paper. Pretty cool.
Hobby Lobby caries the Testor’s brand in clear and white. Just use the 40% coupon and they aren’t too bad.
