Has anyone figured out how to set an avatar in your user profile?

Took a look and it looks like uploaded avatars aren’t supported and there are none in the library. Doesn’t look to me like you can set one at all.
I use the signature function instead. Like this:
Rio Grande Zephyr 5771 from Denver, Colorado to Salt Lake City, Utah “Through the Rockies”
Just upload your picture to Photobucket (for example)
And link it.
The avatar function is disabled on the forums. Electrolove’s method is what everyone around here does to get around it.
Please try to select an image around 50K or less out of consideration for members with slow internet connections.

The avatars are only for Kalmbach staff, and all they have is either a Kalmbach logo, or a logo of the magazine that their assigned forum is based on.
