Does anyone know what the value of the following? This information is on the side of the box: Limited Edition ( 1/250 ), I assume this is # 1 out of a 250 part run? Boston & Maine Railroad 36’ Truss Rod Box Car B&M 62275 The box is from Roundhouse trains Paperwork on the inside has info on the Salisbury Point RR Society. This is a unused kit that has not been put together. I believe all the parts are there.
I have bought from them before; they do good work; you might find reference to the kit on their site - check “online store”:

Another good one is Eastern Maine Model RR Club; they tend to do more modern ones some real some freelanced but Maine based. Scroll down to the ‘lobster car’ photo and use the “custom decorated freight cars” link. Kathadin Valley is the name of their club layout

In all honesty, you are dealing with essentially just a Roundhouse old fashion box car. These 36’ truss rod cars are pretty crude by today’s standards, certainly not accurate examples of some particular B&M car, which might have given it some collector’s value. Rather, it is simply a club, or society, limited run (fund raiser?) car.
As such, its value would pretty much be expected to be about the same as any other Roundhouse truss rod box car which, going by recent eBay sales would be around $10 to maybe $15.
