There is a B&O yahoo group:

There are a lot of old B&O guys on here. An interest in the B&O is all you need to join.
oscaletrains,
Welcome to our forum;I’m more of a C & O fan,but like the B & O as well,
especially the Chessie connection. I live in Louisville,Ky,which was pretty
much the southern “terminus” for the B & O.
I’ll try to give you as much info. as I can;I’m like Joe,give me an e-mail,feel
free to e-mail me at the posted link.
(I’m guessing by your “screen name”,that you model in O scale;I do also.)
…I really like your picture of 1st gen. diesel power…Really looks like a down and dirty railroad shot should…I’m no expert on the theme but did grow up around the B&O in Pennsylvania…Lots of coal hauled out of our area via the B&O…from steam to diesel. Witnessed many, many coal drags powered by two steamers up front and a pusher bring coal up the Somerset & Cambria in Someset Co. Pennsylvania…and head for the main at Rockwood, Pa.
I grew up in Southern Illinois near the B&O mainline from Cincy to St. Louis and rode their passenger trains twice as a kid.
All I know is those CPL signals are the best out there.
