Bachman Silver Series rolling stock

Wanted to hear what others thought. I now have 5 Silver Series cars, three boxes and two tank cars. I love em, they are ready to run, great wheels, good coulplings, nice detail. I have found them at two LHS for between $6.50 and $11.00

I have a Route Rock ACF covered hopper.

Its very nice, im very pleased with it.

I got two tank cars for Xmas and I’ve had two ore cars for a while. I like em too, they run really nice, to nice down grades sometimes!!!

In Bachman Silver Series ‘N’ scale I have a hopper, a covered hopper, two high-cube box cars, a tank car and a flat car. They have worked well and I am very satisfied with them. When it comes to rolling stock, I have seen very little difference between Atlas, Bachmann, LifeLike and MDC Roundhouse products.

I have noticed the same thing. If there is a grade on your layout, they find it.!

I’ve got a couple myself, though I don’t have a layout yet to try them out on. I believe they’re heavier than the cheapie stuff, too.
