I currently have the Bachmann 22" Radius Curved Track-E-Z Track and was wondering, if I were to go to 26" Radius curves would I have to reconfigure my current track plan? (It’s a long oval.)
Thanks
Sean

Well if making it larger would mess it up, then yes it would!

Well, of course, the width of the radius is going to be bigger, but I’m not sure what you mean ‘re-configuring’. Do you have scenery set in yet? That’s going to affect it a lot, since the straight track on your ‘long oval’ is going to be a lot further apart. If you don’t want to re-set the straight sections of your oval, you can always use extra 26" radius to turn the curves into a ‘Dog-Bone’ (reversing the curves inward at the apex). Congratulations on your decision to go with wider-radius curves, however, especially if you decide to run full-length passenger cars, bigger diesels, or large steam. You’ll probably notice your derailment quotient going WAY down!
twhite: What do you mean by “reversing the curves inward at the apex”?
Thanks Sean
