Bachmann 38-Shay (reissue)
I’ve got two Bachmann locos (Big Hauler and a 2-6-0 Mogul). Just had a Lenz decoder and sound installed in the Mogul…no easy task for a supposed “DCC Ready” loco, but it worked out OK once BOTH the main pcb and motor pcb were completely removed! Now I’m looking to buy a Shay. Will the installed Bachmann Shay DCC board function with my Lenz LH100 and LZV100? Is sound included in the Shay? I do like the Bachmann trains, especially for the price when “others” go for “thousands!”
