Mark, I have been doing the same and still don’t see many of them out there at a price that I’m willing to pay.
Most of the parts for them on the Bachman site are gone also.

Yeah, I think they were going for trying to reproduce UP/OSL 618 on the Heber Valley. I think I’d rather just start with a normal 2-8-0 and use a kit i found online for the conversion if I ever want to do something like that.

Hi Steven, yes the shells are still available but the chassis with the 63" drivers have been sold out for years with not much of a prospect to find them elsewhere. One could only hope that they will make more some day.
