Is there a secret to getting the body off or did they actually glue it on? On a friend’s dome car the body on one end is significantly higher than the other causing a coupler misallinement with then next car. Anyone come across this issue before?
There IS a little trick to it, believe it or not…
There are tabs on the side of the underframe that mate with holes in the sides…but there are also tabs on the END of the underframe, too. Start with the ones on the sides. Gently pry the sides outwards until you can bow the underframe downwards slightly, then you can get the end tabs loose.

The best way to remove the floor is to not buy the Bachman full dome and save your money and invest in one of Overlands full domes. I have no affiliation with Overland Models just a happy ATSF full dome owner.
