Bachmann EM 1 Decals

I found a site that offers the EM 1 with out decals for $50.00 less then ones with decals? Surly a set of decals don’t cost $50.00? From what I have seen, the Herold on the front of the engine is there.

How hard can they be to but on anyway? Or to find? Only one that I think would be hard to install would be the number board on the front. It has been 20 years scenes I have installed decals, and they still look good on the model cars I built.

Any ideas where to pick up B&O decals? I am not a river counter so I am not really worried if they are correct for the EM 1.

Decals are a big savings over the $50 reduced cost!

You are gonna need to clearcoat it after the decaling for it to be done right… By the time you buy the decals, clearcoat, and spend the time to take it apart and do it right, that $50 extra is looking pretty good…

Hi Cudaken,

also do not forget if you get your loco without any decals you can decal the engine for your favourite railroad. I visited a layout once where the owner loved the GE turbines. So he bought himself a pair and got them painted in CN zebra stripes. These little N scale monsters looked quite good. [:)]

What suprise’s me is microscale does not seem to have caboose decals for the B&O

Thanks for the answer folks. Far as applying the decals, I all ready have clear coat so it would still save me $40.00 depending of the shipping cost of the decals.
