does anyone have a diagram of how the 4 plug wires connect to the decoder. Had to replace mine.

Just record how you remove the old one, one wire at a time.

I can see six places at the front of the tender where the wires connect to in a picture Jonathan posted. There might be labels on the bottom of the PC board. I don’t see labels on the top. Search Bachmann ho forum for em-1. The discussion is, exploring the em-1.

I did that with a Bachmann steamer few years ago.

Jonathan at the Bachmann HO forums has at least a couple EM-1’s and has lots of experince with them

The PC board has the same terminals at the rear of the tender but has plastic clips on them. No idea if any wires are under the clips. Bachmann does that with some decoders.

I just looked in the Parts page for this loco at the Bachmann site but see no labels on the terminals, at least on the top of the PC board.
