Sounds like you got one with a bad motor. If you bought it new, send it back to Bachmann with proof of purchase and they’ll make good on it.
Bachman will repair any of thier engines at any time…Free the first year with dated receipt. After that they will repair for a fee. I think it’s $10 for standard diesels…$15 for standard steam…$20 forSpectrum. If it’s a non Spectrum, it might be better to give it the heave-ho. Jerry
