Bachmann GS4 DCC upgrade

Hi,

Last weekend I pickup a Bachmann DCC GS4 SP Daylight 4-8-4. From looking at the info diagram in the package it looks like it can be upgraded in the tender with a better decoder and sound. Does anyone done this and have any recommendations?

Correction, has anyone done an upgrade/replacement of the decoder with sound?

Just swap out the stock decoder (8-pin) with the sound decoder of your choice.

there is a speaker mount allready in the tender, ready for your speaker.
