Bachmann HO scale Norfolk & Western class J streamlined 4-8-4 steam locomotive
It compares well with the model from Broadway Limited, albeit with no sound decoder. Broadway is perhaps better all things concerned, and has the advantage of needing a shorter radius, but Bachmann is a steal
I got this locotive from a set for my b-day. It runs very well. Right now it is the best loco i have. One question, does anyone know what screws to undo to get to the decoder in the tender??? Thanks!! 
i have 3 ofthese in n scale one is older one 2 newer one dcc ready they run very well to undo the tender to got to the decoder remove 2 screw under th tend one under the rear truck other in the middle on th n scale there place for the speaker for sound dcoder lik to know what decoder to use ???i have all eztrack 11 1/4 curves you sure fine out if your track not lay rite with these eng i,m usein my older model for my bluegoose the jclass look almost like th hudson 4/6/4
